What does the Pet CPR & First-Aid class cover? Will I get a certificate?We cover CPR, rescue breathing, choking, bleeding injuries, heatstroke, hypothermia, seizures, poisoning, insect stings, and more—plus how to safely restrain and transport an injured pet. After completing the course, you'll receive a certification that is valid for 2 years.

Where are classes held?We offer classes at local venues around Omaha/Council Bluffs/Lincoln, or we can come to you for private bookings.

Can I bring my pet to class?All pets are to be left at home, and I will bring my Furst Responders, Juniper and Persephone, along with practice dummies for hands-on training.

How long is the class?Most classes run about 3.5–4 hours, depending on group size and questions.

Who should take this class?Pet parents, sitters, walkers, groomers, trainers, shelter staff, and anyone who cares for pets professionally or personally.

Is there a minimum age to attend?We recommend students be at least 12 years old. Anyone under 18 should attend with an adult. Adult must sign for registration.
